What are Google Alerts?

Create Google Alert RSS Feed
1. In Google Alerts, create a new (or update an existing) alert entry for a keyword and set Deliver To to RSS feed.
In the example below, the keyword monitored is “Cyber Security”.
2. Right click on the RSS icon “Copy Link Address”, in order to copy the RSS feed URL
Configuring Google Alerts in MarketBeam
1. Go to MarketBeam Team settings -> Integrations tab -> scroll down to the Google Alerts section.
2. Click on the Add Feed Url button to add a new alert.

Create Social Posts from Google Alerts
1. Go to Google Alerts Activity page to see any new alerts activity.
The alerts are refreshed automatically every night. You can also request an immediate refresh by clicking on the Refresh button. This will fetch any new alerts from Google Alerts in real-time. Keep in mind that Google may not always have anything new to report.
2. Click on Create Story in order to create a new social media post based on the google alert URL
