Introduction
MarketBeam's proprietary integration with HubSpot extracts your brand's LinkedIn engagement data, identifies corresponding leads in HubSpot CRM contacts and adds engagement events to the leads' activity timeline.
The lead interaction data includes Comments, and all reactions - Like, Celebrate, Curious, Love, Insightful and Support, on the company's LinkedIn Page.

Installation
- In the MarketBeam app, go to Team Settings - > Integrations -> HubSpot.
- Install app and Test Token to make sure the integration is set up correctly.
- Select the HubSpot Contact custom field name used to store the LinkedIn Profile URL.
- LinkedIn Post Engagement Type: By default, only LinkedIn users who commented on company posts will be extracted and uploaded to HubSpot. You can choose to extract all Reactions.
HubSpot Activity Page
All Activities are listed under the HubSpot menu.
The activities are automatically mapped to the relevant HubSpot contact. In case MarketBeam is not able to find the right HubSpot contact, one can manually resolve the mapping by clicking on the HubSpot action and resolve and add the activity as an event to the HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.
The user context provided in every event includes,
- Name
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Post the lead interacted with
- Engagement type including the actual comment
- Timestamp
Note: Activities are stored in MarketBeam for a period of 30 days.
Bulk Discard
Select and discard activities that are not relevant for HubSpot.
Note: Both added and discarded activities will not be displayed anymore.
Hubspot Action
For activities where MarketBeam was able to automatically map the right contact, the user can simply review the mapping and choose Add Activity to add to HubSpot or choose Discard Activity to ignore this activity.
For activities where MarketBeam was not able to automatically map the right contact, the user can search HubSpot Contacts and map the right Contact to the Lead Name. After mapping the contact, you can choose Add Activity to add to HubSpot.
In case the contact does not exist in HubSpot, you can choose to create one by clicking on Create New. After creating the contact, you can choose Add Activity to add to HubSpot.
