To integrate MarketBeam with Slack for social media post notifications, follow these steps:
Step 1: Slack app approval, by IT admin
Click MarketBeam Slack App to review and approve for installation in your Slack workspace.
NOTE: Do not click on the Add to Slack button here.
Step 2: Slack app installation by MarketBeam admin
Navigate to MarketBeam Team Settings -> Slack Notifications.
- Install the app
- Test the installation
- Configure the Home Tab message displayed in the Slack app
Step 3: Slack Notification selection by users
Users can choose Slack notification on their MarketBeam Profile page. Once enabled, they will receive a message when a new story is created. Click the Share button to share content on social media.

Why is my app not getting installed?
Please make sure the IT Admin has reviewed and approved the app for the workspace.
Why are some users are not receiving notifications?
The most common reasons are:
- The slack app has been uninstalled or IT has revoked the approval for the app. Review the Slack app installation and also test the connection by clicking the Test Token button in team settings.
- The user has not chosen Slack Notification in their profile settings.
- The user’s email in MarketBeam does not match their email in Slack Workspace.The user's email in MarketBeam must precisely match their email in the Slack Workspace for notifications to function correctly.
